Our primary concern is ensuring the safety of our staff and customers in these difficult times. Please follow advice regarding social distancing, parties of more than 6 people, track and trace and bear with us as we all stay safe but have some fun as well.

welcome backThe Four Horseshoes is a lovely country pub situated in the popular village of Sherfield on Loddon in North Hampshire off the A33 between Basingstoke and Reading.

It is housed in a Grade II listed building dating from the 16th Century with later additions in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is reputed to be haunted by the Grey Lady, thought to be a former owner and who keeps an eye on the lounge bar for us!

The pub has a comfortable lounge/saloon bar with a log burner to keep it toasty in the colder months where you can either prop up the bar or sit in relative privacy for a drink or meal.

There is also separate dining room leading off of the lounge bar and with French doors opening out into the garden. This can used for larger groups of people wishing to enjoy a meal together.

The public bar on the other side of the pub houses a TV, a darts board and we have a variety of pub games such as dominoes and cribbage.

If this isn't enough we specialise in celebrations with a large skittle alley that transforms into your special venue.
